Handcrafted in black porcelain with gold lustre, their smooth, rounded forms are dramatically interrupted by fractured openings and richly textured golden interiors. The contrast evokes the earth’s crust breaking apart to reveal the glowing matter beneath — a moment of tension, movement and transformation captured in porcelain.
Sculptural and intriguing, Tectonic Shift celebrates the beauty of unexpected rupture, where a seemingly solid surface opens to reveal something precious within.

Material: porcelain covered with pigment and fired at high temperature of 1250 degrees, embellished with colloidal gold details. The piece is assembled on a support of artificial leather and the closing system is made of brass & steel.
