A sculptural statement piece from Raluca Buzura’s SUBTERRANA collection, the Fracture Brooch #2 captures the raw beauty of the earth in transformation.
Handcrafted in black porcelain with gold lustre, its fragmented, layered surface evokes cracked ground, while delicate organic forms emerge from the rupture, touched with flashes of gold. The contrast between the deep black porcelain and luminous golden fissures creates a sense of movement — as though something precious is breaking through the darkness.
Bold yet intricate, Fracture explores the tension between fragility and strength, destruction and renewal, finding beauty in the fractures that reshape both the natural world and ourselves.

Material: porcelain covered with pigment and fired at high temperature of 1250 degrees, embellished with colloidal gold details. The piece is assembled on a support of artificial leather and the closing system is made of brass & steel.
